Dr. Maksym Pogorielov at Silesian University of Technology

Dr. Maksym Pogorielov delivered an invited lecture titled ‘Electrospun chitosan-based materials for tissue regeneration and other biomedical applications’ at a Faculty Seminar at the Silesian University of Technology. The lecture highlighted the medical potential of chitosan-based materials, with particular emphasis on their hemostatic properties, which enable rapid bleeding control while promoting tissue regeneration. The presented materials were developed based on results from the BioPhot project ‘Advanced hemostatic materials for dual-use applications’ (ADHemostop)
