On 26 January 2026, the BioPhoT Industry Day took place at the House of Science of the University of Latvia, bringing together researchers, industry representatives, investors, and innovation ecosystem stakeholders to discuss research excellence and collaboration opportunities in biomedicine, photonics, smart materials, and related fields.
The event was attended by AD- Hemostop project researchers Mārtiņš Borodušķis, Anna Ramata‑Stunda, and Volodymyr Deineka, as well as our commercialisation leader Didzis Rūtītis. The day enabled valuable meetings and networking, fostering meaningful exchanges between academia and industry. In addition, Anna Ramata-Stunda contributed to the panel discussion ‘What hinders successful industry-academia dating?’, sharing insights into practical barriers and enablers of effective research-industry collaboration
