Main directions of scientific work:

  • low-temperature plasma physics, using the unique experience and equipment accumulated by the laboratory,
  • development of technologies and optimisation for high frequency light-sources for various applications, like atomic absorption spectrometry, refractometry, Zeeman spectrometers, frequency standards, etc.,
  • development of devices and methods for detecting pollution in the environment, especially, heavy metals like mercury,
  • applications of plasma sources in disinfection, medicine and environmental protection,
  • development of a development of a neural network model for plasma diagnostics
