Main directions of scientific work:
- low-temperature plasma physics, using the unique experience and equipment accumulated by the laboratory,
- development of technologies and optimisation for high frequency light-sources for various applications, like atomic absorption spectrometry, refractometry, Zeeman spectrometers, frequency standards, etc.,
- development of devices and methods for detecting pollution in the environment, especially, heavy metals like mercury,
- applications of plasma sources in disinfection, medicine and environmental protection,
- development of a development of a neural network model for plasma diagnostics.
